All of this sounds like a mess. If one of them is trying to take a different lead, that will only lead to division.

Great text also!

'Musk thinks the bill spends way too much and adds to much debt. He’s been pushing for less government spending through his role in Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), where he tried to cut wasteful programs and saved $160–$175 billion (currently only $61.5 billion is verified).'

He got $5 billion for free from the American Government over the years but despises spending when it's not in his interest. The issue with the US is also not wasteful spending; it's that the country has been captured by the .1% and the military-industrial complex, to the detriment of almost everyone and the country as a whole.

Completely agree with your conclusions, Rohaan. Is there a need for a third way? 1 million %. Is Musk the one to lead it? No, 1 million %. He's highly volatile, highly self-interested, a poor public speaker and pretty dislikeable. He's also not particularly shrewd as a thinker when it comes to politics.

American politics is the tale of two cancers - the dominant Establishment strain of megaloliberals - and the Trumpian mutant strain. The latter's less likely to cause WW3, which makes it better, but they're both fucking awful.

I think it will be a grassroots leader who eventually comes when people can stand it no more. It won't be one of these billionaires. The socioeconomic domestic issues and the global policeman + indispensable nation idea are still the main issues. Money has just got better at hiding. The biggest difference between Trump and Musk, and the Dems, is who they blame for the ills of society. They are the ill when it comes down to it.

Will go and subscribe now and restack.

Personally. I think I need to improve. I'm writing such a short pieces because of my busy schedule. I've decided I'll write every day but post just on mondays and thursdays.

I've been avoiding politics as much as possible. I vote primary based on things that involve my personal core values. Freedom of speech, the right to bear arms and so much more. However, I can see your point because both parties take all or nothing point of view which is incredibly frustrating. Most people can't admit that even in their core values the party that they voted for has flaws and a lot of them are significant. I'm not sure a two-party system is a good way to do it but then I don't really know that much about politics to stick my nose that far in. The only perspective I can fairly give, is in the experiences I've lived. I'm not a businessman. I have no idea what it takes to run a country. I can see the flaws but I have no clue how to fix them.
